Our client, a well-established Legal 500 law firm in Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to join their Private Client team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable firm on a varied portfolio of trusts

The Role:

• You will manage a diverse range of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements and providing clear advice to stakeholders. Collaboration with the Private Client team on estate planning and related matters is a key aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering trusts, including discretionary, life interest, and charitable trusts.
• Preparing trust accounts, tax returns, and compliance documentation.
• Liaising with beneficiaries and trustees.
• Assisting with estate planning.
• Keeping updated on changes in trust law and taxation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience
• STEP qualification (or working towards) preferred
• Strong knowledge of trust and estate taxation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proactive and collaborative approach
