As an advocate at this leading provider of legal and claims solutions to insurers, businesses and other suppliers to the insurance sector, your role will involve providing advocacy, advisory, and drafting services to the firm. You will receive training from senior members of the team and be based in the Liverpool office. However, there may be occasions when you need to travel to the other offices in the North of England or attend court as required.

Working from home is available on a flexible basis, depending on business needs.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Undertaking advocacy, drafting, and advisory work, which may involve tasks such as preparing pleadings, attending Stage 3 hearings, participating in interlocutory hearings, and conducting small claims trials.
  2. Assisting senior team members in delivering the above services, which may involve providing support, conducting research, or assisting with document preparation.
  3. Assisting in the delivery of advocacy and litigation training or updates for fee earners within the firm.
  4. Undertaking client-facing tasks related to product development as required. This may involve working closely with clients to understand their needs and contributing to the development of new legal products or services.
  5. Assisting in the development of the in-house advocacy team. This may involve contributing ideas, participating in team meetings, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the team’s capabilities and effectiveness.

Overall, your role will encompass a range of legal tasks, dependent on experience, including advocacy, drafting, advisory work, training, and team development, all aimed at providing excellent legal services to clients and supporting the growth and success of this ambitious and growing firm.

Open to a range of experience levels, we are seeking NQ-2 PQE, 2-5 PQE and 5+ PQE applicants. Salary is negotiable, based on experience, starting at £30,000 pa. plus the usual benefits.
