The Role:

As a senior member of the team, you will:

• Handle a varied and complex caseload of contentious probate matters, including will disputes, inheritance claims, and trust litigation.
• Work alongside the head of litigation department head to drive growth and develop the contentious probate practice.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, delivering exceptional legal advice tailored to their needs.
• Actively contribute to the firm’s business development and marketing initiatives.
• Support and mentor junior team members, playing a key role in developing talent within the department.

About You:

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified solicitor with 5+ years of PQE and significant experience in contentious probate.
• Possess strong technical expertise and a detailed understanding of trust and inheritance disputes.
• Be commercially astute, with a proactive approach to business development and client care.
• Have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support colleagues.
