About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a reputable and friendly legal team in Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take on a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
  • Advising clients on sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold matters
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents including contracts and title reports
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and client care skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload independently and as part of a team
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
