About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated solicitor or legal executive with experience handling probate matters to join a friendly, collaborative firm with a strong reputation in the North West. You’ll manage a varied caseload, supporting individuals and families through the estate administration process with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling a full range of probate and estate administration matters from start to finish
• Drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, and related private client documentation
• Liaising with clients, HMRC, and other third parties
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team, where appropriate
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant legal and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (3+ PQE ideal, but open to strong candidates with relevant experience)
• Proven background in probate and estate administration
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• STEP qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential
