A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its established and growing private equity practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to work on high-quality, fast-paced private equity transactions within a supportive firm offering flexibility, progression, and a competitive remuneration package.

The Role
From a recruitment perspective, this role offers exposure to a wide range of private equity matters, including:

• Advising private equity houses, institutional investors, and management teams on acquisitions, disposals, and investments
• Acting on management buyouts and buy-ins, growth capital investments, and exits
• Drafting and negotiating share and asset purchase agreements, investment agreements, and shareholders’ agreements
• Managing due diligence processes and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
• Supporting fund formation, structuring, and portfolio company matters
• Working closely with partners on complex, high-value transactions
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in private equity and/or corporate transactional work
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and technical skills
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
• Confident managing transactions and competing deadlines
• Ambitious and keen to develop within a leading London firm
