Job Description:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious top 100 law firm in Sussex, seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Solicitor with 2-5 years of PQE. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and undertake a variety of commercial dispute resolution work, including:

• Banking and finance litigation
• Commercial and contractual disputes
• Negligence claims, including professional negligence
• Shareholder disputes
• Defamation cases
• Judicial review
• Contentious insolvency

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse caseload of commercial disputes from inception to resolution
• Providing high-quality legal advice to clients on a range of litigation matters
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
• Representing clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings
• Conducting legal research and staying updated on relevant laws and regulations
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Collaborating with colleagues across different practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions
