A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London is seeking a Leverage Finance Associate to join its established banking and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to work on complex and high-value leveraged finance transactions within a supportive firm offering flexibility, progression, and a competitive remuneration package.
The Role
From a recruitment perspective, this role offers exposure to a broad range of leveraged finance matters, including:
- Advising lenders, borrowers, and sponsors on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions
- Acting on private equity-backed deals, refinancings, and restructurings
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements
- Managing transaction processes and coordinating with corporate, tax, and regulatory teams
- Advising on covenant packages, security structures, and risk allocation
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex cross-border transactions

- Qualified Solicitor with experience in banking and finance or leveraged finance
- Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills
