About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded law firm in Shropshire. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex family law matters, particularly financial remedy cases. This role will involve advising and representing clients through sensitive family disputes, including divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of family law matters with a focus on financial remedy cases
• Providing expert advice and representation in divorce proceedings and financial settlements
• Engaging in negotiation and settlement discussions to reach favorable outcomes for clients
• Conducting client meetings, providing support and guidance throughout the legal process
• Managing all aspects of case progression from inception to conclusion
• Working as part of a supportive team and contributing to the firm’s growth and development

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor (preferably 2+ years PQE)
• Significant experience in financial remedy cases (divorce, asset division, spousal maintenance, etc.)
• Strong understanding of family law and associated legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize effectively
• A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience in private children law and other areas of family law
• A collaborative and client-focused approach to legal practice
