We are looking for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our highly regarded and long-established Cheshire based Client.

They are looking for an accomplished, disciplined and focused candidate who can conduct a caseload of debt recovery, Commercial Litigation, Insolvency and Property Litigation. The right candidate needs to be able to work with little supervision and without secretarial support with a responsibility for their own billing and credit management.

Role Summary

Responsible for managing a caseload of dispute resolutions cases, end to end, including:

• Pre – Litigation debt recovery for B2B and rent arrears
• Issuing and defending of County and High court proceedings
• Conduct of small claims, fast track, intermediate and multi-track cases in court
• Instructing and briefing Counsel when required
• Instructing agents to attend hearings
• Attending hearings
• Negotiating and settling claims
• Issuing and defending insolvency proceedings
• Serving notices and pursuing eviction proceedings on landlord’s behalf
• Defending disrepair and deposit claims
• Enforcement of Judgements
