3+ PQE Construction Solicitor – Manchester

We are eager to connect with experienced construction lawyers who are driven to excel within a dynamic, internationally focused team. We are offering a unique opportunity for those with:

• 3+ years of PQE in non-contentious construction law or a blend of both contentious and non-contentious experience.
• Strong technical expertise in managing high-value construction and engineering transactions and contracts, particularly within the infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of complex legal issues and the nuances of contract interpretation, along with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate the law.
• Experience with key projects and contracts, including standard forms such as FIDIC, NEC, and iChemE; as well as Framework Agreements, Interconnectors, Collaborative Contracts and Alliancing, Crossing Agreements, and other bespoke contracts.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service, both within the firm and externally.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset, with a “can do” attitude and a commitment to going above and beyond to meet client expectations.
• Excellent organizational skills and a practical approach, with the ability to adhere to procedures, manage critical deadlines, and balance the demands of a busy workload.
• Exposure to business development and supervision, with a strong interest in continuing to play an active role in these areas, including training activities and mentoring junior fee earners.
