We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Solicitor to join our reputable law firm based in Coventry. As a Childcare Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in representing children, parents, and other parties involved in childcare proceedings, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are upheld.
Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and representation in childcare cases, including care proceedings, child protection issues, adoption, and parental rights matters.

Conduct thorough assessments of cases, gathering evidence, and preparing legal documents, including court applications and statements.

Represent clients in court hearings, negotiations, and meetings with relevant parties, including social workers, guardians ad litem, and other legal professionals.

Act as an advocate for children, ensuring their views are represented and their welfare is prioritized throughout legal proceedings.

Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop effective strategies for achieving positive outcomes for clients and safeguarding children’s rights.
Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor a NQ years of experience practicing in childcare law.

Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Adoption and Children Act 2002, and related regulations.

Proven track record of handling childcare cases from inception to resolution, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients.

Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, managing a varied caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.
