How it all started

How it all began

I set up Austen Lloyd over ten years ago, together with family members who united to create the hugely successful brand of Austen Lloyd.

Having worked for many years in HR and Recruitment, I had a very clear vision of what I wanted the brand to look like. I used my experience working in these fields to build a successful, bespoke company that has grown year on year and become the success that we are so proud of today. After working in the HR departments of national firms, gaining valuable experience, I then moved into a recruitment role. This was where I found a true passion, changing lives and helping people to find their ideal roles. After 4 years in the legal recruitment business, I could see what the market needed and decided to set up Austen Lloyd, a fresh new brand with the drive and ambition to provide the best a quality service possible.

Austen Lloyd has grown rapidly year on year and we are now a team of highly professional, experienced leaders in the legal recruitment space. We have a truly national coverage and have become very well respected by major law firms and High Street practices alike. We really listen to the needs and requirements of our clients and candidates and tailor their search accordingly and keep you informed every step of the way. The trusted relationships that we have been built up over the years result in a great deal of repeat business and many candidates referring their colleagues to us.
