The Firm are an established Law firm which has extensive knowledge in a variety of sectors and are ranked Tier 3 in the most recent Legal 500 directory for our Personal Injury services. They pride ourselves on customer service which has been recognised by Lexcel, and currently secure the silver accreditation for Investors in People, which demonstrates our commitment to our employees.

This is a great opportunity for a solicitor, legal executive or paralegal with at least 2+ years‘ experience in personal injury matters to join our bespoke practice. The successful fee earner will be expected to handle a varied caseload of personal injury matters, whilst delivering outstanding client care.

For the right candidate we will consider a hybrid/remote working arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Handling own caseload of personal injury matters from initial instruction to conclusion
  • EL and PL
  • Multi-track and fast-track
  • RTA claims
  • Assessing liability and evaluating quantum
  • Obtaining and considering medical records
  • Negotiating settlements and defending claims
  • Instructing counsel
  • Attending court hearings and trials
  • Drafting pleadings, applications, and orders
  • Liaising with clients and other professionals
  • Ensuring compliance

The Candidate

  • Solicitors, legal executives and fee earning paralegals with at least 2 years’ PQE
  • Solid experience in personal injury matters is essential
  • Ability to handle own caseload under minimal supervision
  • IT proficient
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Keen analytical problem-solving skills
