Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join an established and well-regarded Corporate team based in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of corporate and company law matters, acting for a diverse client base of SMEs and owner-managed businesses. Work will include mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, corporate restructurings, and general company law advisory matters.

This is a mid to senior-level role within a supportive and growing firm, offering genuine long-term career prospects for a solicitor who is commercially minded and keen to build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to clients.
Advise on M&A transactions from instruction to completion.
Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements and corporate documentation.
Support clients on general company law and governance matters.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Manage matters efficiently with strong financial awareness.
Collaborate effectively within the Corporate team and wider firm.
Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the department.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of corporate law.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified solicitors with 5+ years’ PQE and solid corporate experience, particularly in M&A and shareholder matters. Experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses is essential.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
