Senior Dispute Resolution Solicitor (8+ PQE) – Suffolk

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor with 8+ years’ PQE to join a leading regional firm ranked in the Legal 500. Based in Suffolk, you will handle a diverse and high-value caseload and play a key role in growing the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters from instruction through to conclusion, including contractual and shareholder/partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, debt recovery and injunction work.

• Provide strategic, commercially-focused advice to clients, assessing risk, strategy and cost effectiveness.

• Represent clients in mediation, hearings and other ADR forums, and if required, court or tribunal proceedings.

• Develop long term client relationships, contribute to business development and support the growth of the team and department.

• Mentor and guide junior colleagues and assist in shaping the department’s strategy and profile.

About you

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience in dispute resolution/commercial litigation.

• Proven track record of managing significant files independently and delivering results for clients.

• Excellent drafting, advocacy (or ADR) and negotiation skills; strong technical knowledge combined with commercial awareness.

• Confident in client-facing roles, comfortable developing business and working collaboratively across teams.

• High level of organisation, able to prioritise and work effectively under pressure in a demanding environment.
