The Opportunity:
A leading law firm in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its respected Private Client Disputes team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE looking to take on high-quality work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment with genuine progression prospects.

The Role:
You will be managing a varied and complex caseload of contentious probate matters, working closely with a well-established team. The firm handles high-value disputes relating to wills, estates, trusts, and inheritance claims, and you’ll play an integral role in delivering top-tier legal services to a broad client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a range of contentious probate and trust disputes

• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision

• Assisting senior team members with high-value and complex disputes

• Engaging in negotiation, mediation, and court proceedings where necessary

• Helping to develop client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives

Candidate Profile:

• A qualified solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in contentious probate

• Strong knowledge of Inheritance Act claims, will disputes, trust litigation, and Court of Protection issues

• Excellent client care, communication, and organisational skills

• A proactive, team-oriented approach

• Desire to develop your career within a growing department
