Private Client Solicitor, East Sussex | Established Firm

We are working with a well-regarded law firm based in East Sussex, who are looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their thriving team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience to manage a diverse caseload, advising on a broad range of private client matters.

The Role:
In this role, you will handle a varied and challenging caseload, covering all aspects of private client law, including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration. You will be responsible for providing tailored legal advice to clients, managing complex matters with sensitivity, and building long-lasting client relationships. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a wide range of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Estate Planning.
• Drafting legal documents, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts.
• Managing the administration of estates, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Providing advice on tax planning, inheritance tax, and asset protection.
• Developing strong relationships with clients, providing high-quality, empathetic service.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members as needed.

Skills and Experience:

• A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of PQE in private client law.
• Expertise in Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Estate Planning.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively advise clients.
• A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• The ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior colleagues is a plus.
