The Opportunity:

Are you a Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor looking to start your career in Private Client law? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a reputable and well-established law firm in Hertfordshire, who are seeking a talented NQ Solicitor to join their thriving Private Client team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an NQ Solicitor to gain exposure to a wide range of high-quality private client matters, including Wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team with strong growth prospects.

About the Role:

As an NQ Solicitor, you will work closely with senior solicitors and be responsible for handling your own caseload of private client matters, including:

• Advising clients on Wills, probate, and estate administration
• Assisting with estate planning and inheritance tax advice
• Drafting Powers of Attorney and dealing with Court of Protection matters
• Managing trusts and providing ongoing client support
• Building strong, lasting relationships with clients

You will receive full support in your career development, with the opportunity to further develop your expertise in Private Client law.

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally possess:

• A recently qualified Solicitor with a passion for Private Client work (0-2 years PQE)
• Solid understanding of Private Client law (training contract experience or prior exposure is advantageous)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A client-focused approach, with the ability to build strong relationships
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
