Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Court of Protection Health & Welfare Solicitor with 0-5 years PQE to join a prestigious legal 500 firm. The firm is dedicated to providing top-tier legal advice and representation across various practice areas, including Court of Protection matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Representation: Represent clients in Court of Protection proceedings, ensuring their best interests are safeguarded.
  • Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of health and welfare matters, including disputes over medical treatment, residence, and care arrangements.
  • Legal Advice: Provide expert legal advice to clients, their families, and carers on all aspects of health and welfare law.
  • Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of clients in court hearings and tribunals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.
  • Client Care: Maintain high standards of client care, offering compassionate and empathetic support throughout the legal process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: 0-5 years’ PQE in Court of Protection Health & Welfare matters.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and related legislation.
