Overview

The esteemed Insolvency team, recognized for its competence in the Legal 500 directory, is seeking a dynamic Insolvency Associate with 2-4 years PQE to contribute to the team’s growth. Led by a highly regarded professional, the team handles a wide range of non-contentious advisory work and contentious insolvency disputes.

Key Areas

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing new client inquiries discreetly.
  • Handling all aspects of corporate insolvency with confidentiality and precision.
  • Overseeing property-related transactions in insolvency discreetly.
  • Managing personal insolvency matters with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Providing discreet guidance to junior team members.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and high standards in client service, matter conduct, file management, administration, time-recording, and accounting.
  • Recognizing and handling confidential cross-selling opportunities.
  • Attending confidential networking events to build relationships with clients and intermediaries.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the insolvency practice with discretion.

Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ discreet experience in insolvency.
  • A client-centered focus, taking proactive steps to maintain confidentiality and maximize client relationships.
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution with a focus on confidentiality.
  • Strong time management skills to discreetly juggle multiple client priorities.
  • A willingness to go the extra mile with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • High IT literacy with a discreet and professional demeanor.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with a focus on discretion.
  • Social confidence and professionalism with a discreet appearance.
