Senior Projects Lawyer, Birmingham, top-100 Law Firm

This UK-Top 100 commercial law firm provides a comprehensive range of legal services from offices across the UK. They advise businesses across energy & resource management, higher education and financial services, complementing market leadership within housing, local government and health & social care.

They are seeking an experienced solicitor to aid on the delivery of market leading PFI/PPP projects, including advising the procuring local authorities, or a bidder, sub-contractor, or investor during the procurement process, and provide contract management advice through the construction and operational periods of signed PFI/PPP projects, including on complex contract variations, asset management, refinancing, changes in law, expiry and handback issues.

In light of the ambition and potential growth plans for this team, for the right candidate and with a business case, there is the prospect of progression to Partner.

You will have:

• 6+ years’ PQE in either Private practice or in-house, and worked in a team, coordinating advice with fee earners from other disciplines
• Knowledge of key areas of the law and the ability to deliver clear, precise and practical advice, whilst supervising junior team members, combined with a high level of self-sufficiency and an awareness of own abilities
