Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Solicitor

We are looking for a Personal Injury Solicitor to join a successful regional firmas part of the team based at their Leicester Office.

Working within a growing Firm, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently to progress cases and have a commercial, fee earning mindset.

The role will cover all aspects of personal injury work including:

To carry out and be responsible for day to day conduct of personal injury files.
Any necessary advocacy and other Court attendances including attendances at conferences with Counsel and experts.
To assist senior members of the department with substantial case files.
To apply proper professional standards and operating with a high degree of personal organisation.
To demonstrate an awareness of clients’ needs and perceptions to the discharge of your work for them and to act promptly, pro-actively and efficiently in relation to all client matters.
To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the law in your areas of specialisation and to comply with the continuing professional development requirements
Skills and Responsibilities:

Solicitor or CILEX preferred but will consider paralegal with extensive experience.
Must have had experience of multi-track personal injury and/or clinical negligence cases, including issued cases, either with sole conduct or assisting more senior colleagues on such matters.
An ability to work independently on own initiative to proactively progress cases with minimum supervision is essential.
Experience of fast-track matters and Portal claims would be advantageous as would Clinical Negligence experience.
The ability to demonstrate initiative with a solid attention to detail
Have excellent client care and interpersonal skills
Have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
Proven track record as a fee earner
Willing and comfortable to network,
