This award winning firm is one of the largest, non-city based law firms in the West Midlands with a national reputation for its technical expertise. The rural property/agricultural team acts for landowners, farmers, tenants and rural business and has one of the leading legal specialists on the CAP.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop responsible for running own caseload and ensuring deadlines are met;
Assist the more senior lawyers with more complex transactions.
Ensure the retention of good clients through appropriate client management and service delivery;
Ensure clients receive accurate, up-to-date legal advice that takes account of their circumstances and represents “value for money”;
All invoices to be raised on completion of the matter and where possible interim billing to be applied. Disbursements and other ‘expenses’ to be invoiced as and when incurred; and
Maintain the integrity of data in key platforms such as Worksite and Liberate by ensuring that they are updated in a timely manner.
Support key events to help secure profitable new clients and increase the Firm’s profile.
Provide marketing support e.g. writing copy and reports, updating literature and seeking out networking opportunities.
Undertake legal research both as requested and on own initiative.

Person Specification:
A strong property background (with experience in rural property not essential but advantageous)
Motivation, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic and good communication skills (both oral and written); allied with attention to detail and a desire to learn and work part as a team.
