Senior Associate in Property Development, Birmingham

We are looking to recruit a mid to senior property lawyer (4yrs+ PQE) to strengthen the existing local government team for this Legal 500 firm in Birmingham

The role will require you to:-

lead on complex development projects as well as work alongside the Partner;
supervise junior lawyers and legal assistants;
build relationships with clients;
take an active role in business development both internally and externally – attending conferences, delivering seminars and training, as well as responding to tenders;
navigate the political dimension of working with councils and be very strong commercially

About the candidate
The ideal candidate will also possess strong skills in managing and developing people. Experience in local government work, either in-house or working in a private firm would be desirable, however, experience in high quality project/development work is of more importance.
