Senior Associate/Partner – Private Client – Midlands

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate/Partner to join a Private Client team in the Midlands. The team is one of the largest in the region, with a national reputation for providing high-quality support on all aspects of private client law including wills, trusts, estates and tax planning, and services for elderly and vulnerable clients.

Responsibilities:
– Advising clients on all aspects of private client law, including wills, trusts, estates, and tax planning.
– Managing a caseload of complex and high-net-worth clients, including drafting legal documents and providing tailored advice.
– Providing expert advice to clients on issues relating to vulnerable clients, such as mental capacity, powers of attorney, and Court of Protection applications.
– Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, including managing client expectations and delivering excellent client service.
– Working collaboratively with other members of the team, including junior colleagues, to deliver high-quality legal services to clients.

Requirements:
– Qualified Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE in private client law.
– Strong technical knowledge of wills, trusts, estates, and tax planning.
– Experience of working with high-net-worth and complex clients.
– Knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable clients, such as mental capacity and Court of Protection applications.
– Excellent client management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
– Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide guidance and support to junior colleagues.
