Planning Solicitor, in-house, Local Authority, NQ+, with Planning experience/knowledge

We’re working with a Midlands Local Authority seeking knowledgable Planning Lawyers. The role will encompass the full range of planning issues, from handling contentious work in judicial review and statutory challenges to advising Planning committees, reviewing planning appeals and judicial reviews, updating planning policy, and advising on planning agreements and enforcement, overseeing community infrastructure levy issues, planning policy and compulsory purchase orders. You will be handling your own caseload of complex matters whilst supporting business development initiatives

There will be some management, dependent on own experience level, supporting junior members of the team with their case loads
Overall, the desire is for the provision and development of first-rate legal services
