1. About the Role

The Firm are seeking a Solicitor with experience and good knowledge in all aspects of family law. The position is full time, permanent position primarily based in our firm’s Leicester Office, although the candidate should be willing to work at our other offices as client needs require.

The successful candidate will:-

Cover all aspects of family law including divorce, financial aspects of a divorce, Child Arrangement Applications, dissolutions of Civil Partnerships and Pre Nuptial Agreements;

Be part of a friendly and supportive team across our offices;

Work alongside the Head of Department;

Maintain and develop the current case load;

Be keen to participate in the growth and future development of the Family Law Department

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

A good knowledge of Family Law;

A professional approach;

Excellent client care skills and awareness of the needs of clients

Experience of dealing with clients both face to face and remotely;

Be able to work under the pressures of a court timetable and organise time accordingly;

Attend court on face to face and remote hearings and be able and willing to undertake their own advocacy.

Be able to negotiate and work with other professionals including experts;

Be able to work independently;

Be able to develop the Department especially through social media and be willing to network.
