NQ Personal Injury With Marine Experience – Bristol

The Role

• Manage and assist with marine-related personal injury and liability claims.

• Advise clients on liability, quantum, causation, and recovery.

• Handle complex and high-value injury claims.

• Assist with marine casualty and incident investigations.

• Advise on employers' and public liability issues in the maritime sector.

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, witness statements, and legal advice.

• Liaise with insurers, P&I Clubs, shipowners, charterers, and other stakeholders.

• Work with medical, technical, and expert witnesses.

• Support inquests and regulatory investigations.

• Assist senior lawyers on complex international disputes.

• Develop understanding of marine, shipping, trading, and commodities matters.

• Build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.

About You

• Qualified Personal Injury Solicitor with 1–5 years' PQE.

• Strong experience in personal injury litigation.

• Experience managing your own caseload from inception to resolution.

• Good experience in liability and quantum disputes.

• Strong drafting and analytical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and client communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a specialist team.

• Commercial and proactive approach.

• Genuine interest in marine and shipping law.
