Legal Cashier – East Sussex

The Role

• Client and business account reconciliations

• Handling CHAPS, BACS, and Faster Payments

• Processing receipts, payments, and completion transactions

• Calculating client interest

• Managing electronic and manual banking

• Processing foreign payments

• Handling credit and debit card transactions

• Administering petty cash and general accounts

• Responding to finance queries from colleagues and external contacts

• Maintaining accurate records and audit trails

About You

• Minimum of three years' legal cashiering experience

• Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and client money requirements

• Organised, numerate, and detail-focused

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
