The Role
Prepare Bills of Costs and cost budgets
Prepare costs estimates and supporting documentation
Manage assessment and post-assessment work
Draft Notices of Commencement, Points of Dispute, and Replies
Negotiate costs with paying parties
Advise fee earners and colleagues on costs-related matters
Prepare appeals where required
Monitor key deadlines and progress claims through to resolution
Attend Detailed Assessment Hearings where appropriate
About You
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a legal costs role
Experience with Clinical Negligence and/or Personal Injury matters
Organised, commercially aware, and technically strong
Excellent attention to detail and workload management
Strong communication and numerical skills
