Housing Litigation Solicitor – Greater Manchester

The Role

• Manage a varied caseload of housing litigation matters for Registered Providers with supervision.

• Advise on cases involving anti-social behaviour, possession proceedings, and housing management litigation.

• Handle injunctions, committal proceedings, housing disrepair claims, and property condition issues.

• Support senior colleagues on complex and high-value cases.

• Attend court hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate.

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and applications.

• Provide clear, practical, and commercial advice to clients.

• Build strong client relationships and contribute to excellent client service delivery.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with up to 3 years' PQE.

• Experience or strong interest in housing litigation or social housing law.

• Exposure to a varied caseload, preferably contentious work.

• Some advocacy experience or willingness to develop this skill.

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

• Proactive and ambitious approach with enthusiasm for housing law.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence in building relationships.

• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and contribute.

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
