The Role
Manage a varied caseload of advisory and contentious matters.
Advise clients across the health, social care, and education sectors.
Support clients in the lead-up to and during inquest proceedings.
Undertake advocacy at inquests, Court of Protection hearings, and Tribunals.
Engage in regulatory, children's law, and Court of Protection matters.
Develop strong and lasting client relationships.
Participate in business development and client relationship management.
Assist with the wider management and supervision of the team.
Collaborate with colleagues across the wider practice.
About You
5+ years' PQE.
Experience in health and social care law.
Strong experience supporting clients before and during inquests.
Ability and confidence to undertake own advocacy at inquests.
Excellent technical legal knowledge and attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied caseload.
Practical, commercial, and solutions-focused approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Willingness to develop legal skills and take on new challenges.
Experience or interest in business development.
