The Role
Lead and develop the Commercial Property team
Manage and supervise lawyers and support staff
Take responsibility for recruitment, performance, and team development
Maintain a substantial commercial property caseload
Handle acquisitions, disposals, development, investment, landlord and tenant, leases, licences, and refinancing matters
Draft and negotiate leases, contracts, licences, and reports on title
Collaborate with the wider firm on corporate transactions involving commercial property
Develop existing client relationships and generate new business
Oversee departmental performance, including billing and WIP
Contribute to the future growth and direction of the department
About You
Qualified Solicitor with strong Commercial Property experience
Experienced in handling a broad commercial property caseload
Previous experience supervising or managing other lawyers
Comfortable combining fee earning with team leadership and business development
Strong existing client and professional relationships
Interested in taking genuine ownership of the development of a Commercial Property team
