The Role
Manage property transactions, including sales of land, church halls, and clergy housing.
Create and establish titles from historic documentation.
Resolve complex property matters across multiple church-related charities.
Handle commercial property matters, including lease grants, extensions, renewals, and surrenders.
Advise on and grant easements.
Provide guidance on boundary issues and parish land ownership.
Serve statutory notices in accordance with the Church Property Measure.
About You
Experience in handling freehold and leasehold property matters.
Background in commercial, residential, and/or agricultural property law.
Knowledge of unregistered land and title creation through historical documentation.
Experience with church-owned property is advantageous.
Interest in developing expertise in a specialised area of law.
Understanding of charity law is beneficial; training provided.
Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and case management software.
