Commercial Property Solicitor – East Sussex

The Role

• Advise landlords and tenants on a range of commercial property matters.

• Handle commercial property sales and purchases.

• Advise on lease renewals and the granting of new leases, acting for either landlords or tenants.

• Prepare and serve formal notices.

• Advise on matters relating to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.

• Manage lease extension matters.

• Manage a varied caseload independently, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and accurately.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality client service.

• Identify and develop business opportunities to support the growth of the team.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Property law, ideally 3-5 PQE.

• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters.

• Ability to manage a varied caseload of property transactions independently.

• Excellent negotiation, drafting and communication skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of clients' business needs.

• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

• Strong business development skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
