The Role
Manage a caseload of inquests and Court of Protection matters.
Advise NHS clients, independent health organisations, and local authorities.
Undertake advocacy and advise on complex health and social care issues.
Handle matters involving mental capacity, mental health, and deprivation of liberty.
Advise on safeguarding, consent, and healthcare access disputes.
Assist with serious medical treatment applications and High Court matters.
Prepare detailed legal documentation and deliver training to clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Contribute to the growth of the health and social care practice.
About You
Experience in Court of Protection, inquests, or related areas.
Strong advocacy and case management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide clear advice on complex legal issues.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Interest in health and social care law.
Proactive and commercially minded approach.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Interest in business development and client management.
