About the Role
A leading Top 50 law firm is seeking an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join its expanding and diverse team. The role will focus on managing a caseload of Health & Safety and Transport Regulatory matters while supporting the department’s broader work, which includes criminal, environmental, CQC, and professional regulatory cases.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile matters for industry-leading clients, including those in the transport and logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety:

• Providing expert advice to organisations and individuals on compliance and risk management.
• Delivering training sessions on health and safety topics.
• Conducting compliance reviews and internal investigations following incidents or near misses.
• Representing clients during investigations by authorities such as the HSE, police, or local councils.
• Defending clients in prosecutions related to health and safety, food safety, and fire safety.

Transport Regulatory:

• Advising on the operator licensing regime under the Office of the Traffic Commissioner.
• Representing clients during PACE interviews with DVSA or other regulators.

You are a proactive solicitor with expertise in regulatory law, ideally in health and safety or transport regulatory matters. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a busy, growing team. You are committed to delivering high-quality service and have strong communication and advocacy skills.
