An excellent opportunity for a capable Solicitor to join a well-regarded Commercial Litigation team within a substantial firm based in central Birmingham. The team acts for a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, PLCs and global corporates.

  • Advise on and comply with all relevant pre-action protocols.

  • Draft high-quality litigation documentation and manage matters through all procedural stages.

  • Build rapport and maintain strong communication with clients, counsel and experts.

  • Manage Court and arbitration proceedings where required.

  • Represent clients in settlement negotiations, mediations and other alternative dispute-resolution forums.

  • Ensure matters are handled efficiently, diligently and with strong financial management.

  • Collaborate effectively within the Commercial Litigation team and wider Dispute Resolution department.

  • Contribute to the development of junior colleagues through supervision and knowledge-sharing.

  • Engage with firm wide business initiatives and projects.

  • Foster long-term client relationships and support business development efforts.

  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of substantive law and procedure

We welcome applications from candidates with 3-7+ PQE, though PQE is provided only as a guide; candidates with demonstrable relevant experience will be considered.
